3) We were wrong about our prediction of the election outcome. We have been wrong about many things. We may also be wrong about our worst fears of what can happen with this kind of election outcome.

Another lesson is that sometimes big economic issues (like inflation) almost guarantee that the party in the White House will lose the election.

One big lesson is that everyone – including us – risks getting incomplete information, and an incomplete view of reality, by limiting our media consumption to the sources that echo our own opinions.

Our job is still the same: find a way to be our best selves every day, and look for ways to reduce the suffering of those around us.
