It's been said elsewhere that the quoted list doesn't include audiobooks or ebooks, which by default will have a big knock against indie titles.

A proper, full list is probably impossible. But a man can dream.

TV and film, SF is everywhere. Especially if you count superhero fiction.

I think there's also a very big split between general readership and the Sf community, especially the online portion.

Exactly. I don't read celebrity memoirs, but I'm glad they're bringing money into the publishing ecosystem.

I would love to see a straight SF list to see what's performing best in that niche.

There are definitely some authors mentioned in there that I'll be looking out for

I'm not a fan of it, tbh. Sun Eater is particularly bad for special edition exclusives. Thankfully short stories tend to get anthologised or collected sooner or later.

I think the only things that should stay edition executive are fore/afterwords by the author, and bonus artwork.

I'll be buddy reading this soon. Was at the launch party at FantasyCon and it sounds super interesting.

Just stare back at them in defiance. They're not going anywhere.

I think the nature of reviews means you have to add the personal. It's not just objective 'correct grammar' but the subjective 'related to character, disliked them, made me think about...' that makes reviews worth reading.

I'm very much pro-standalone. Let's me jump around between authors without having to track lots of different plots and characters. Plus standalone feels like a natural format for science fiction.
