The problem with DEI is that conservatives think there’s no benefit to it and liberals think there’s nothing to criticize about it. In reality, DEI is a good philosophy at its core but many programs trying to implement it often yield counterproductive results.

To put it in layman’s terms: without NOAA, the American fishing industry would collapse. That means thousands of jobs lost and extremely high prices for having to import sea food.

NOAA manages large ocean fisheries in US waters. Scientists there conduct surveys, sample fish, and run complex models to estimate the levels of sustainable catches. NOAA is recognized as a world leader in creating jobs, producing food, and avoiding overfishing. Kudos to NOAA fisheries!!!!
