Thankyou 🙂 Yeah I got very serious with them very quickly with solicitors and all sorts and in the end they refunded me for the whole unit, which was about £600 and gave me some vouchers and I left it there because life’s too short, but their customer services was absolutely appalling.

Yes both are plug and play. I don’t see too much gear needing drivers these days, unless it’s for additional features like the S88/Konplete Kontrol sort of thing or proprietary software to map specific controls.

Noo! That’s dreadful. I’ve had some serious issues with Gear4Music in the past - they sold me a workstation that wasn’t properly fitted out and the keyboard tray disconnected and nearly broke my leg and my keyboard 👎 Really crap that NI weren’t bothered.

So out of the ones you’ve picked I would say the Minilab. May I ask why you’re avoiding NI? Only because my personal go to smaller controller would be an M32. Forgetting the software it’s a really decent keyboard and great value 😊

I have the AKAI one in my touring bag which is brilliant for noodling very small one handed ideas but too small for more, however the Arturia stuff is just great imo. Got the Keylab 88 as my home studio controller and it’s fantastic…

I always just thought the flash was just really bright when they took the photo…
