Same! I know mental health is complex and there are a myriad of causes for issues. But for me a big factor was feeling hopeless about the state of things, and seeing no solution as a liberal. Now, I see solutions, push for them, and feel good. Still have social anxiety though. 🤣

I get that. I hated antidepressants/antianxiety meds. Was on em for a long time but realized that they made me feel nothing but numb when I was on enough to stop feeling so anxious, which is my biggest issue. I stopped being as depressed when I became a communist.
