I’m guessing that many undocumented immigrants don’t know what the “right” way is to be here. They are just looking for hope and safety. To say there’s a “right” way and they should follow it means you are assuming they have access to the same information and resources that you do, which is false.

Does anyone else kind of chuckle when such a big deal was made about lowering the price of eggs, and now there’s an egg shortage due to bird flu, which the CDC isn’t allowed to discuss, and the prices are actually going up?

My kids are older but still school-age, and many of my family members live close by. However, if my husband and I were childless, we’d get the heck out of this red state and move somewhere with like-minded people who don’t vote against their own interests.
