I will add that I have met plenty of white cis women who do not fit into this narrative. Women who have done the work to understand the nuances within gender and race and the intersections of oppression that they apply to a persons experience.

But they do not speak out against their sisters.

White cis women are not ready for the work; establishing protective community, because they have not even begun the class. They are often bio essentialist, scientifically racist (if not casually), and narcissistic enough to think that they couldn’t be wrong about these issues and the solutions.

They do this with more than just me though. When they speak to the black women I work with, they yell and speak in unnatural aave as if characterizing themselves as what they see in black women. It’s deplorable, disrespectful, and it gives those black women and I something to agree about.

The problem I have with this is that they probably believe that they’re standing together as women. I don’t really mind being disrespected, I’m autistic and it is a constant part of my experience. I mind that they believe my liberation is a threat to theirs and not intrinsically tied together.

Aberrant? I remember playing a one shot in this game system and it was pretty fun, very free form and mutant based powers.
