As someone who wants to write something to publish someday (heh), I look at libraries the way someone with poor habits looks at a bar:

“Oh, look! It’s that place where everybody knows me because I held onto Killashrandra for 18 months before I returned it! 😅…. 😓 (and I never read it..)”

Declaration of beliefs, for those who might be suspicious of me:

I’m an ex-USPS mail handler, so I’m pro-union by default

I’m pro-protected groups rights: I’m particularly sensitive towards gay rights, women’s rights, black civil rights in the U.S., and respecting people’s histories and cultures..

My mom tried to tell me I could save up with my $5.15/hr work-study job and $1500 worth of brand-new credit card lines for a desktop like this back in ‘02, back in my first semester of college. No effin’ waaay..

Random question for people: if large companies like newspapers and whatnot and such were to come here, would that be good or bad?
