It's beyond embarrassing.
I'm 34 and only just now starting the fantasy novel I've been mentally writing for a decade, simply because I thought it just wasn't good "enough." But now I realize that ultimately, I am writing it for myself, and for the characters I've created in my head. They want their story told.
