I think I prefer living without heating. So I came home from London with no pressure in the boiler, again. Put the heating on, mainly to turn my bathroom into a laundry room. This one in the bedroom should be off right? It's piping hot, that's wrong? #plumbing

I'll share my other finds later, but just supping a Kernel Citra, the beer that got me started on craft beer back in 2010 (!) at the Queen's Head, Kings Cross before bailing earlier than planned , I just don't have it in me to do any more

People bang on about how expensive London is but I stick by the belief that most places have caught up. Less than £6 a pint is cheaper than I pay at breweries in Worcestershire and Gloucestershire

Bag is actually heavier now as I've swung by one of the best bakeries in London - Beaten By a Whisker, Walthamstow - found it by accident last year. Picked up this beaut of a loaf, and a cookie tie me over as I decide if I want a full Scottish or not

Spag Bol bricks all ready for the freezer, I actually got 13 portions out of it (1 eaten last night). I already have 10 portions of watercress and walnut pesto in the freezer and Mexican-ish beans and beef are in the slower cook.

Going in hard with my food prep game!
