I unfortunately got hit HARD with exhaustion during Angel's Egg and dozed off for a decent chunk of it (this happens a LOT when I go to see movies) but since I'd seen it before I didn't experience any confusion about what I missed, I still wish I'd seen more of it though :(

I wouldn't call it his best work but there's something so delightfully indulgent about the vibes of it, how you can see so many themes and concepts that have always been present in his work melding together in that film.
