Foreign tourism fee seems like a progressive tax on the wealthy so not a bad idea but the stench of xenophobia can’t be removed.

That said, I’m sure the administrations reasons behind said changes aren’t great and I don’t think greater access and utility is one of them.

Honestly, I’m ok with parks charging more to foreign tourists. These spaces are traditionally over crowded and we should make it easier for Americans to experience our parks. I’ve paid similar high fees any time I’ve traveled abroad.

Honestly I’m ok with foreign tourists paying extra to visit national parks. I’ve encountered similar while visiting other countries. Progressive tax on the wealthy. Visiting parks during peak season is a circus and we should prioritize americans using our national lands.

Most of it seems like a bad faith gotcha by centrists who are looking to distract from how they’ve enabled americas political drift to the right.

Had my in-laws crash out about stuff like this a few years back. There’s this expectation that “I get to have fun” as a grandparent and it means that anything goes. It’s a really using mentality that many boomers seem to have.

Using this quote at work the next time someone asks me use AI on a project.

Depends on the quality of the pecans in my opinion. Usual store bought pecans taste like paper so yeah, it often tastes like blobs of sugar.

While not stoked about the ai chat aspect, would be nice to avoid lingering on a video about plumbing for too long and that forever being every third video recommended.

AI’s sycophantic tendencies are one of its most damaging characteristics. I’ve had conversations with coworkers denying objective realities because AI told them that a situation wasn’t that bad and actually it was good and they did great and they’re actually really smart and good at what they do.

They’ll pry my iPhone 13 mini from my slightly too large for the screen fingers.

Would you be up for sharing more about the design and approval process?

These coffins stuck with me after the movie. They beautifully added to the narrative.

Curious if you’ve experienced this but as someone who works in games (but not on them, marketing) I’ve found the industry attracts better coworkers. Compared to other entertainment industries far fewer egos and more celebration of artists and weirdos. Got its own set of issues of course.

Now I’m thinking about what kind of deck MTG would play

“willing to stand their ground on a progressive agenda”
November 22, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Doesn’t matter because in the end, she lost. Gotta build a coalition to win elections and she chose to go right rather than left. 2025 has shown that trying to bring in red voters doesn’t work as well as energizing the young progressive left. Dems keep arguing that the voters should have changed.

Look here Debbie, we’re gonna get you strong civil rights, affordable health care, dignity, and the ability to pursue a meaningful life regardless of class or means. I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT LIFE AND ARE HAPPY.
November 22, 2025 at 12:20 AM
Plenty of strong women of color out there willing to stand their ground on a progressive platform. I (and I believe most of America) would make any them my president any day of the week. Unfortunately, Dems are scared of such a person.
November 22, 2025 at 12:14 AM
That’s just not a position tethered to reality. Misogyny and bigotry are unfortunately here but she chose a loosing platform and lacked principle.

Love this country. Hope you get healthcare, affordable necessities, and a peaceful community like all citizens and immigrants deserve.

Discern what? That a clear stance on affordability is better than half baked, incoherant, means tested, focused grouped polices? Enough empathy to feel the pain of those murdered with US munitions on the other side of the world? 2024 was no time for half steps and Kamala tried to stand totally still
November 21, 2025 at 11:50 PM
And that’s why Dems fear the left more than the right. They are held to a standard and expected to act on principles in the best interests of their constituents. Gaza wasn’t the only issue on the ballot but being ok with genocide is a damning position if you claim to be a left wing candidate.
November 21, 2025 at 11:47 PM
It’d be one thing if he gave any ground but he said from day one he’d work with Trump on affordability while calling him a fascist. He did just that so I’m happy.
