My 27" retina iMac still runs. And it ran 24/7/365 for 8 years before I replaced it with the studio. It's still works! I never really thought about the power supply though... But I've got apple care so I'm going to roll the dice.

It’s on the bottom! My studio is on the back but even it’s a pita to get to. So I simply never turn it off.
