would love if RPGs/games with character customization showed your character doing the implied traveling during loading screens and allow menuing during it too. Sitting in a cart during fast travel, walking down the stairs to a dungeon, holding onto a handrail on a train etc

things I miss about old MMOs I used to play

- items/gear physically being in the game world when dropped
- allocating points into stats/skills
- starting as a 'novice' class and then picking your class later from a trainer
- setting up your own shop in town and selling your loot

One thing I appreciate with FFXIV is that playing a healer role is so scary, but so fun 🥹 even if I got the gist of it (WHM 67) (AST 40), theres still situations I can learn a lot from

Still nervous being a tank, haven't done any dtr's with it 😭
