Let’s see what Gallego does first. Everyone was over the moon about Fetterman in 22 and as soon as shit got tough he ran to the right. We just ran a center right national campaign and lost. FWIW, AOC is one of the best communicators the party has hands down.

I assume there would be a special election in Florida if Marco gets SOS. Winning Rubios seat is almost impossible but that’s why the DNC should bring in a full on lefty candidate. You know you’ll loose but you’re going to get undivided attention of the country. Make the 2028 argument now.

What kills me is Biden has the most perfect chance to honestly push back. He can’t run again, we lost the election, and the party is already looking to use him as a scapegoat. Just cut all aid to Israel for the last two months. The fuck is Congress gonna do to him, make Kamala President?

Given where he’s pulling from my guess is he thinks he can use his presidency as leverage to get the new guy elected which ensures their loyalty for whatever he has in the pipeline. He’s already starting off as a lame duck. He doesn’t want an independent gop power base growing anywhere
