These are the wealthy funders who’ve given Reform £5m
Nigel Farage says his party is a break from the political establishment. That claim doesn’t match up with its donors

In contrast, US isn't represented at all at COP30, in Brazil, because as CNN reports, Trumps' new oil frontier is just off Brazils' coral reef coast (& of course not forgetting the CIA backed, current efforts at regime change in oil rich Venezuela.)

China leads the way on many things at the moment, but in the west we are so hardwired to be US centric, that we are full blinkers on,travelling backwards, as if we have been brainwashed into giving up

The BBC is as British as tea & toast. It was the worlds most trusted news source ( still is, in America aparently)
Attacks on it are arguably an attack on British culture, identity, on Britains intellectual tradition & British independence of spirit. We need high quality journalism more than ever.

Some of our politicians seem to offer the keys to the British kingdom to anyone, who offers them favours. Putins oligarchs, Israels oligarchs, Americas oligarchs?

Blackmail or death? Democracy dies in darkness
Sueing media outlets seems to be one of Trumps favourite past times, (Meta,Disney, Murdoch et al). Noteworthy too that a record number of Journalists have been murdered under the US sponsored Zionist holocaust in the ME.

Echoing what is going on in America perhaps? That's to say- a legacy (& social media) buy out by kleptocrats, keen to seize the narrative (nb Zionists especially).
Hope i'm wrong.

But who gets to choose the next BBC CEO & will it mean BBC news & current affairs, have less journalistic integrity or more?
Though Gibb is still there, this does present a small window of oportunity, to break the mold, if the public shape change. Left to the establishment, things may get worse

"I used to think that the causes of war were predominantly economic. I came to think that they were more psychological. I am now coming to think that they are decisively "personal," arising from the defects and ambitions of those who have the power to influence the currents of nations." Liddell Hart
