This scene was absolute GOLD. The writing, and the ACTING of the writing from these two amazing actors, and the cinematography on the stairs with the mirror. One of my very favourite nonHeybourne scenes.

I so love AC standing there fiddling with his blankie...

The subtle flirting through Hannibal is so intellectual and dorky and absolutely adorable.

Oh how I love them!

Yes! I should have said he is the best at retrieving the bullet!

It's okay that he's not good at snapdragn (at which Sam, I'm sure, is a DEMON!), because thanks to @peasemealbrose.bsky.social we all know that he is the absolute best at the bullet pudding!

I am sorry that I did not reply, ladies. I was taking a SM break! I didn't know the answer anyways...

Your boys might like Brean Beach, actually. Lot's of treasures at low tide. The cliffs are also exceptionally cool and make a great family nature walk. They are so, so gorgeous!

You are correct in thinking the church is a quick visit. It takes 5-10 minutes at most. Very near Dyrham Park.

Correct - still for sale, still not open to the public.

This would totally be my vote, too.

She'd never lower herself, Lady D! Your nephew may be high in title but he is the lowest of the low in just about everything else (except height! Ha!).

Still, though, that was a great scene from Andrew Davies to introduce Edward and show that Charlotte was not out to snag a man!

I am so sorry to hear of your situation - for both you and your parent. I wish you both the best outcome possible.

Here it is: And the fine print (just so we're clear what you are getting and what I am getting 👍)

Yes - the overall time crunch was detrimental to fleshing-out some of the characters.

I really liked the story line - if only for getting the utterly incredible acting in the tavern scene -- but like many other things in S3, I wish they had gotten there differently, in a way that didn't break down Charlotte's character so much.

Didn't she ask Augusta who the gentleman was when they were at the swing in ep.4? And Augusta wouldn't tell her. That should have been the first clue that Augusta KNEW she should not be doing what she was and Charlotte should not have given advice without knowing.

I think this is why so many had difficulty with Charlotte in general in Season 3. She just wasn't herself. I think we are supposed to believe that she was so in love, for the 2nd time, and that when her heart was broken she just couldn't recover. It makes our heroine quite weak, though.

And this chapter is absolutely lovely and well worth the wait so that you could get it just as you liked! You never fail to impress!

Took two months for me to get approval in 2022. That's why Storm/Portrait went up on fanfiction . net first. I was waiting......
