What makes the texture of the blast clouds different? It's like the initial clouds are more sharply defined than the later ones. Is that because of the increasing amount of ash in the air?

And for the visual folks, in this day of streaming you can find documentaries about US events from other countries as well. And of course current events - foreign press can give insight you won't find in an American paper.

Previously, we were left with writings from early European colonists who spoke of an empty, beautiful wilderness. Now we know it was empty in places because early traders left germs that killed off people who lived there. And that the wilderness was often a managed landscape.

This is why Trump is such a fan of President Jackson. He routinely ignored rulings by the Supreme Court (especially for Native American issues), and basically told them to "make me". The Court has no direct enforcement power, it must rely on the Executive branch for that.

The book follows the lives of three people who followed different paths away from misery and what their new lives were like. The book is informative about just what terrible conditions blacks lived under in the South and how they came North to follow a dream and then had to continue to fight for it

The length of the book is a bit scary, but it's so worth it, even if you only manage parts of the book. Reading this now also offers terrifying comparisons to our current state of government. Hitler came in so easily and so many of the same signs from then are happening again now.
