maaaybe... I see a lot of trees whizzing by, no strike protections - will be interesting to see the video that emerges from the triple crown race in the next few days.

That said, red tape would prevent that kind of course, with a shuttle rd. anywhere I can imagine in CA... except perhaps BLM.

Well... it has a dedicated small zone - that's not the parallel I'm thinking about. A long, point to point, perhaps 1500 vertical foot DH enduro trail with road gaps?
A lot of people yearn that this is what should be expected of their public park agencies. And I just don't see it?
