Another bill #S1818 referencing foreign use of #QALYs introduced by @SenatorBern including support from @SenWarren @ChrisMurphy - yet they are on record opposing QALYs in 2020! You can't support health rationing tools devaluing disability without impacting access! warren.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

Another bill #S1818 referencing foreign use of #QALYs introduced by @SenatorBern including support from @SenWarren @ChrisMurphy - yet they are on record opposing QALYs in 2020! You can't support health rationing tools devaluing disability without impacting access! warren.senate.gov/imo/media/do...
When proposed in 2018-2020, National Council on Disability recommended against importing QALYs and similar measures as used in other countries, highlighting impact on care access. Their letter is still relevant today. www.pipcpatients.org/uploads/1/2/...
