Haunt Season - 2/10
Just substantially boring, most of everything in this movie was like fine to alright but it was so poorly paced and took forever to get anywhere. You'd figure that for another "haunted house slasher" movie it would have felt better.

Haunt - 7/10
Fun little horror movie with a neat twist, a little underwhelming for the most part but fun! Special effects and the makeup were really good, making the antagonists look really unnerving! Definitely a B-level horror movie done right!

Couldn't leave Round1 without a few prizes!

Taking part in the ADO event at my local Round1! Fries are pretty good, drinks are tasty and the coasters are very cute! Happy Birthday to the queen herself btw!

Everyone Is Going To Die - 7/10
Fascinating home invasion-type movie that builds quite a bit of suspense. The acting is fairly good overall, more thriller than horror though. While the use of violent moments isn't a lot, when it's actually used, it pays off pretty well overall.

The Funhouse Massacre- 8/10
Super fun movie with a really fun concept! Brutal kills and very silly humor make for a fun time, a couple of unexpected cameos in this movie to which were really surprising! Stitch Face Killer and Rocco the clown should get their own spin-offs!

Jack and Jill - 0/10
This felt more like a film school student making a romance movie and deciding to say "fuck it" and throw a "horror movie" in it too. 1 kill happens at the beginning part of the movie and we don't get another one until the 45-minute mark...awful filmmaking.
October 21, 2025 at 11:58 PM
Mouseboat Massacre- 5/10
Just a really generic "horror" movie, no explanation as to why the "Mouse killer" is doing what they're doing, just gets right into it immediately. I was super lost for most of this movie. Acting was below B level horror and just not good. Movie makes no sense overall.

Martyrs- 6/10
A French psychological horror movie, though it wasn't so much scary as it was brutal. Focuses quite a bit on abuse and the consequences that happen when it's left unchecked. Not for the faint of heart definitely.

Til Death Do Us Part - 7/10
I wasn't really sure why the Bride "wanted out of everything" or why the Groom and his hit squad of Groomsmen "wouldn't allow it, the plot was Hella disjointed. The fights between the Bride and the Groomsmen were fun though, very John Wick/Kill Bill.

Mouse of Horrors - 8.0/10
Far better than it had any right being, like what if "Steamboat Willie" but with the demeanor of The Joker was a slasher and it kicked ass! Was not expecting to see Pooh from the Blood and Honey franchise in this either! Same company from what I read!

Mary Had A Little Lamb - 3/10
Check another in the column for "the British need to stop making horror movies". At least this one is a bit better in the acting department, though not by much. This had the same issue as the other movie where the kills had no oomph to them. NEXT!

Jimmy and Stiggs- 9/10
An absolutely insane acid trip ride of an alien horror movie! Bloody, violent, and occasionally humorous! Not for the faint of heart realistically with all the bright colors and flashing lights. The "trailers" that were before the movie were great as well!

Chopping Mall - 8.5/10
Throwing it back to this 1986 cult classic! Gave me real nostalgia because of the surrounding set and atmosphere! Actually kinda brutal for an older horror flick but definitely welcome! Really fun and cool movie overall, even if the acting is a bit hokey lol

Candyman(2021) - 8/10
Really fun movie! I actually kinda hope we get one last follow-up movie after this, really liked what they did with this and the lore they built with it. Rest in Peace to Tony Todd man, wish he could still be here to oversee this franchise.

Piglet - 1.5/10
We really gotta stop letting the British make these types of horror movies. The kills are so laughably bad and have no oomph to them. The acting is also horribly bad from everyone involved. The fact that this movie is 1 hour and 11 minutes is the real horror here.

Weapons - 9/10
Holy fuck what a wild ass movie! Though the main antagonist got spoiled for me(thanks YouTube for that) a while ago, this still was a really well put together movie! I love the interwoven storylines all converging together and the ending stretch was perfect!
