It’s A Lot around here. My youngest brother, 43, father of girls 12, 14, left us early on Xmas morning. He had a terrible few years with a very very rare genetic mutation which is invariably fatal. My other brother, sister and I spent a week in QLD holding the deep sadness of this loss together.

Western Australia, man. Drive 6 or 7 hours, but so worth it. Camping on Wagyl Kaip /Fitzgerald NP, I had an echidna ruffle around my swag one night, right near my pillow. Holy crap. The swims n walks through Banksia, Hakea etc n bathtub floats in rock pools, doing laps in ocean channels: Heavenly
