Well aside from a bunch of films threw needless 3D stuff into their films and companies tried to make 3D a thing. But I guess that's more of a technical impact

I was so disappointed to stumble upon the robot race track and had to shoot everyone rather then getting involved.

I started getting back to the habit this year (starting with House of Leaves) and it really helps during the dull night shifts

Saw a take yesterday that said world building was fascist bc it's too controlling or something. Didn't expect to learn that its actually evil to not be controlling enough.

If you think about it, storytelling in itself is fascism because it forces a narrative on me rather then letting me choose a narrative with my own free will.
