Our indoor plumbing has also improved since 1865 & is about as relevant to the GROWING WAVE of white christian nationalism, xenophobia & racism (see Nazis marching in Columbus). You can keep your head buried in the ground Matt, but it'll be a lot harder patting yourself on the back in that position.

Yeah, cause it's not like Trump insults virtually anyone & everyone as it is convenient to him. Pretending what some rando on bluesy/x says is representative of the Ds (like Tommy did here - his standard arguments are 100% strawmen), shows the intellectual seriousness (none) of Tommy's argument.

I don't see wanting more allies as regarding them as "heroes" or "boosting" them - it is simply effective towards achieving WHAT CAN BE DONE NOW.
If you are more concerned w/score keeping & purity tests, Ralph Nader, the Greens, etc. are ready & waiting along w/their<.5% of voters nationwide.

At this point in history, and with the extreme threats facing democratic governance & rule of law, I think I'll focus on 2025--2028 and all those allied to fight against Trump AND NOT on some historical purity test.
