Also, as a small town gay I am having conversations with my conservative family to realize what they voted for. They didn’t listen before, but now. They have to face they voted for a pedo defender.

I do have this “I’ll figure it out” attitude. I do have me, my partner, my dad who is a retired 70 year old vet, my sister who is mentally ill, her kids .. who all depend on me. I am tired. I tried so hard, but damn, did doing what you “are supposed to” fail.

I am 53. I am so tired of trying. I followed the rules and just get fucked over. We had more layoffs today because of AI. I did what I was supposed to… and I just feel fucked over. My hope is gone. I bought into a lie.
