I think this was like around early 2000s and this was one of the first times they used lie detector tests in a high school setting. /fin

Anyway, parents lost their minds when the student code basically ended up disqualifying the entire team, but some parents were so upset that their sons were gonna get that big moment and eventually a bunch of kids took actual lie detector tests to prove whether or not they were there. 2/
