Goodbye sweet boy. You have been the best boy ever. You have held our hearts for 14 years and we wouldn’t have wanted to miss one single minute of it. Rest in peace. Sing your heart out.

Oscar, had all teeth removed a week ago. His mouth was badly diseased, not uncommon with small dogs. This has been a tough time, many sleepless nights, difficulty eating & overall frustration & anxiety. The spot under his eye is where his face was swollen from an abscess, which drained.

Our sweet little Oscar had to have all of his teeth pulled in a four hour surgery. He has had a really bad night with pain, confusion from meds and anesthesia and not being able or willing to eat. Not the least of which is the plastic cone. I made a fleece cover for it and he is so much more comfy.

25 years ago I said “I do” to this kooky man and I would do it again. We have shared a quarter of a century of experiences as partners. It has only gotten better with time. I love you, honey. ❤️

Cuteness overload: my “grand-kitten” fell asleep on my lap today. I imagine this is similar to when one has a human grand baby and it falls asleep while you’re holding her. I don’t want to move and disturb her.
