That moment when you've got a work call in 10 minutes but your 6-year-old just discovered a "fairy village" of mushrooms and needs you to see it RIGHT NOW 😅

I'm really mastering the art of the 7-minute adventure squeezed between meetings like counting dewdrops on spider webs while I drink my coffee

Montessori shelves look amazing until you realize you just spent 9 hours prepping trays that your child ignores.

In our homeschool? We love Montessori for geography. But we lean Waldorf. Blog’s up now for what works, what doesn’t, and what I wish someone told me before I bought all those trays

I bought over 10 curriculums when we started homeschooling (yes…10).
I wish I had known to slow down, watch my child, and trust that unstructured time = real learning.
What do you wish you knew when you started?

Want to bring more creativity & connection into your homeschool? 🎨✨
1️⃣ Swap worksheets for painting, journaling & form drawing.
2️⃣ Tell a story instead of just reading from a book.
3️⃣ Spend time in nature—every day, rain or shine.
💬 What’s your child’s favorite way to learn?

Justifying my overflowing bookshelves with science: Kids with 100+ books perform 1.5 years ahead in school. 500+ books? 3.2 years ahead. So, technically, our TBR pile is an investment. 📚💡 #Homeschooling #BooksAreLife #readmorebooks #booksbooksbooks

🌿 When I started homeschooling, I imagined peaceful mornings, warm tea, and kids reading under a tree.
This has certainly not been the reality. More like snails in the sink and office supplies becoming fortress weapons.

What’s one thing that surprised you about homeschooling?
