That’s fairly obvious. However, those issues could prevent a plane from responding properly in severe weather conditions. Did any other planes crash that day?

Safety checks, fueling, crew, communication devices presumably were handled on the US side! But it’ll be interesting to see what is ruled as the cause. Tragic regardless ☹️

The funny thing is, if you go to “fix a place”, you can’t select the Gulf of America. I could fix Houston or New Orleans but not that.
