It's entirely inconsequential, but hearing how he just decided if he was maybe going to die, he didn't want to die in uncomfortable clothes had a genuine impact on my acceptance of doing my own thing and not caring about what other people think if I'm not impacting them.

That's the case, although the source they're all quoting is an official statement from Fetterman's office. Which really isn't a great look if he was healthy enough to be quoted in the statement, but not healthy enough to make sure they didn't basically say 'oh yeah, he coded while on a walk.'

On the one hand, as a smarmy bastard, I do sympathize with stating the obvious.
On the other hand, as someone who has a fascination with air incidents, oh my God does a good NTSB report make me nerd the fuck out. So I also understand the frustration.

Nah, I'd keep it as the Christ the Redeemer statue, but add a skateboard to one of its hands and have it rigged up over the Grand Canyon at a 65° angle, doing the sickest Christ Air you've ever seen.

About the only part that surprises me about this is the 'at dinner' part. I just assumed most of the FBI brass was smashed 24/7 (or, at least, when they're not on uppers, although Bongino seems like the kind of guy who loves mixing the two).

It still blows my mind that nothing else has been found yet. It's not impossible, but it is not very common for someone clearly terminally online to just not have any other social media.

Can't say for sure in Mangione's case (haven't done a deep dive but I don't think they've been able to get any solid evidence tossed) but in this case? Considering the defense will be able to point out the head of the FBI incorrectly accusing two others in just the last 24 hrs?

It's troubling that anything less than a full throat endorsement seems to be contentious when it comes to Kirk's rhetoric. Dowd's comments were the purest form of statement of facts.
If we can't admit that violent rhetoric begets violent action, we're done for.
