Still though, I have no idea how this mistake caused this glitch. How is it even possible for this code to run if there's an object in the layer slot and nothing in the object slot?

I figured out the problem, kinda. I forgot to put what layer I wanted the "pikmin_carrying" object to spawn in. So there was an object where there was supposed to be a layer, and nothing where there was supposed to be an object.

Bizarre glitch I just encountered while trying to program in the ability of the Pikmin to carry the pellets. Keep in mind, the pellets aren't supposed to have any collision. #pikmin #gamemaker #gamedev #fangame
