Good makes etc?

The purpose of a system is what it does.

GenAI isn't making anywhere near the money required to pay back. Yet, it's being forced into everything.

Why?

Musk shows us that he wants to use Grok to manipulate users into thinking he's the best at everything. Because he is not smart, and not good […]

Made some baked beans. 😀

Passatta, fried onion, black pepper, chilli pepper, ancho chillies, Chipotle chillies, pinch of salt.

If you soak the beans overnight and then sloooooooow cook them in stock they are really good.

Working to get a new game system up and running
And organised 95% of a Xmas Social.

Watching this video, which talks about if it is politically possible to deploy Russian reservists inside Russia to protect key facilities.

Probably yes.

This is because Ukraine is attacking Putin's power base: The gangster-politicians that are enriched by his leadership […]

Hey #fedi 👋 I'm trying to find those Tumblr posts which say things like

"Humans are amazing, they like singing and playing and making art"

And sound like a really enthusiastic alien anthropologist.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Mm. Something I have in common with Apache. Apparently we're "anti-technology Luddites", or maybe we just both like tech that works?

So, millions of people are letting AI do their thinking for them and "summarise" the news.

From the billionaire perspective, this is great!

Musk owns Grok and he frequently says he'll make it tell you what he wants you to hear.

Assuming that the other genAI LLM owners have _slightly_ better […]

A new book for What's Old Is New, the generic system which combines fantasy, "modern 00s" and futuristic. It's a bestiary with a lot of creatures.

AI being used to demonise homeless people. Great stuff. Very normal. The creators definitely shouldn't have terrible retribution descend onto them.

*smh* the problem AI is designed to solve is the problem of paying wages.

No wonder megacorporations are desperate to normalise this slop.
