I’m hoping my disability check comes through this month - nothing is guaranteed anymore with Musk gutting the government - but I’m planning to stock up for bugging in if it does. Plus I’m reentering the chicken game after several years out so that’s something long-term!

It’s Miska’s first snow and she’s not quite sure what she thinks about it. Haru went out to potty, played with Miska bc he felt obligated, and took his prim self back indoors. Also isn’t my Murder Shack particularly lovely in the snow?

I’m very young to be a grandparent. My oldest grandbrats - including the one with whom I was texting tonight - were born when I was in my 30s (my oldest brats were born when I was in my teens). I enjoy being a young grandparent - even when the grandbrats think I’m old 😱

It’s been a hot (76° and sunny!) day at the Carolinas Renaissance Festival with That Guy I Married (yes we’re still separated) but we had a good time (the friendship might yet survive the breakup)

It was raining at the Ren Faire yesterday (you have to buy tickets a freaking week or more in advance to even get in this year it’s ridic) so I ended up buying a parasol for $ohmygodicantbelievetheycostthatmuch but where I won’t use an umbrella I’m pretty sure I’ll use this bitch

That Haru Pup & I took a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday. I made him pose for an impromptu photo shoot at one of the overlooks. He sure is photogenic for such a funny looking pup. Y’all. I love this kiddo so much!!
