The Democratic senators who caved? I think we are learning who is on the take. I am proud that Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell are not among them. It’s long past the time for a big shakeup in the Democratic Party.

In this year of abuse of power, Earth’s subtleties like the beauty of a blossoming cherry tree is easily lost. But I cherish them because they remind me that time is a gift that sets boundaries. Like seasons, empires come and go, but every spring, cherry blossoms will perfume the air.
