Figured this was the route for awhile now, but before it was over I thought it would have been cool to somehow have a successful defense end with How Not To Drown play and close the show.

Unused Chaos Wars segment: I was going to explain the transition from 2k19 footage to 2k23 footage by having a segment where Naomi was attempting to "upgrade" the cameras, only to cause a glitch and switch to 2k14 footage briefly. Unfortunately I couldn't recreate what I needed in 14.

Haunts handler wanted to call the group the AV Club and do theater kid Bullet Club but Playwrongs was pitched by Stardy and that was an infinitely better name.

The Playwrongs: sorry Stardy as much as I joked about giving Music Man the Jinder run there was never a real plan to strap him up. Vincent Wallace, Curator, and Big Bart were all considered for the group at points but the men's division felt too thin to add more to them at any point.

Rozo: before both their departures i had had plans to build the tag division around both their characters (Afro Gonsou with Disco Mask and Big Bart with The Curator). Sadly things didnt work out either time but I'm glad we found storylines for Disco Mask to make it up to Mass.

I've mentioned this before and I don't think we ever seriously planned it but there was an idea to have Strongman Jr win a match for a contract only for it to be the final episode of the series and not matter.

The Akuma-Gun member that never was: there was a pitch and CAW/entrance work done for adding Nico Yazawa to the group Kondo had a vision of a longterm program between her and the Sakurais that from everything I read at the time I loved. Their departure sadly nixed those plans.

Akuma-Gun: really didn't mean to have as many people as it's ended up having in it, was mostly me trying to consolidate various Li team-up pitches I'd tossed around with different people over the years. Early on had the working name of Hannya-Gun instead but I think the final name works better.

Skipping ahead to Chaos Wars since I mentioned it: that was planned before we even knew War Games was being added to the games, would have been a heavily edited 4v4 like the original SAPW match. Hadn't decided on participants beyond Akuma-Gun vs a Brennan team.

A new plan was devised to do a Tiana Blackwell vs Holly feud leading to a match where Tiana would be physically scarred but Holly's handler left the site shortly after. Tiana was added to Chaos Wars in part as a make good for that.

Holly: this character was originally meant to have a feud with Brennan that would have basically run until Season 5 and from there Laura would transition into the Li feud. The lack of communication from everyone on the post-Zero Hour plans led to a big falling out between handlers and the feud axed

Had they come in I had a vision of them winning the title in a Kevin Steen Antichrist of Wrestling type run leading to Li revealing herself to handle the matter but that was before I'd settled on the Laura feud. Li as the secret owner was more or less the one constant plan.

Alice X: very early on Alistair made a pitch of Alice doing a "but what IS art?" bit to bring them into the fed. I wanted to find a different way to bring them in because I felt that was a slippery slope to more and more people trying to circumvent the signup rules, but by then Alice was killed off
