HOLT is thrilled to work with Royal Borough of Greenwich, @c20society.bsky.social, Dr Dawn Pereria and Brooklands Primary School to save this rare William Mitchell mural – One of three public artworks by Mitchell that HOLT will be restoring in his centenary year.

24th Dec – Leaning Woman model ✨

Our partner modelmakers from Arts University Bournemouth made this beautiful scale model of Karel Vogel’s Leaning Woman for our conference on public art.

23rd Dec- Lord Byron Statue, Park Lane 🖋
 
Next year we will be helping restore the only public statue of the poet, who died 200 years ago this year.

22nd Dec – HOLT’s Public Art Conference @ RIBA 💫
 
The biggest event of our year was our conference in November - 300 people gathered to discuss public art, its history, creation and future. Thanks to everyone who made it such a success!

21st Dec – Southgate Parade Clock, Southgate 🕓

In July we restored this iconic 1930s clock opposite Southgate Tube Station. It was installed in 1932-33 as part of Charles Holden’s design for Station Parade, now Grade II listed.

HOLT advent day 19 - Strawberry Hill House, Twickenham 🏰

In May we visited Walpole’s Gothic Revival masterpiece, the entrance to which was restored by us last year.

Dec 17 – Cranford Park Stables, Hillingdon 🎠 These 18th-c stables are all that remain of Cranford House, the country seat of the Earls of Berkeley from 1618-1918. Our restoration is part of an ongoing project improving the site, and our Proud Places team have brought lots of young people to visit
