last week i had the first of two sessions featuring a model. i didnt like it (photo on the right) but week two, tonight, the improvement in quality and technique is so substantial i feel really really happy with my choices and study outside the classroom

this weeks oil painting class was to take last week's painting, and rework the canvas with the complimentary colors of the original palette. this resulted in a variety of purples for me, and rotating it to portrait after painting it in vertical
