I’m in the PNW too! For sure about the IPAs, but similar to my taste in fragrances, I’m all over the map! 😅

DS & Durga Desert Paintbrush- I was barely a year into my perfume deep-dive, had never blind-bought anything, don’t think I had even paid much over $100 for anything, but I was so intrigued by it. Wish I’d thrown caution to the winds then (and maybe less of that more recently 😅)

Joy by Jean Patou. My mother had a very small bottle when I was young. She didn’t really like it (she doesn’t like many perfumes), but I liked to smell pop off the tiny cork and sniff it!

I am so comforted by things that feel like August sunshine, hazy & glowing. Paraphrase Grasslands (fka Libertine Sweet Grass) is the epitome of that feeling for me. 🌾

…Rhizome 03, Serge Lutens Datura Noir, Confessions of a Rebel Rebel Jasmine. Ok I just searched hand cream by itself & forgot to add Apothecary 18 Night Gardenia (from Anthro, I believe discontinued in EdP but lives on in home fragrances?)!

I have an update! I got out of work early, was able to stop by The Marie-Marie, and after a solid 60 min sniffing decision session, the winner was MISTPOUFFER 🥰

Either Les Abstraits Des Cendres or Kintsugi Carnal. Will I get downtown to get the Kintsugi before I pull the trigger on Les Abstraits? Will I be distracted by Hexensalbe or Mistpouffer even if I get to The Marie-Marie before hitting buy now? Such a nail-biter, y’all! 😅

Tie between Jo Malone Orange Blossom and Nectarine Blossom & Honey, purchased in 2012 in the leadup to my wedding. I had zero perfumes before that. I added Wood Sage & Sea Salt and Blackberry & Bay not long after, that was it til 2020 😅
