I spoke with Franklin Foer at the Tucson book festival a couple years ago and he said that a number of Republican in Congress had told him they were afraid to impeach Trump after J6 for fear of physical violence and harm against themselves and/or their families. Chilling.

Pew’s Exit poll survey in 2016 showed that 50% of Trump voters never attended church only 25% attended regularly. It’s a moniker and a shield behind which they do very unChristian like things
They blame popular culture’s excesses on liberals and equate secularism with atheism.
