The best part of writing fanfic is the planning stage of it in my opinion - I love creating character backstories to fit my AUs, coming up with plot twists and foreshadowing and giggling to myself as I write the most brutal character deaths - where’s the passion gone 😭

You shouldn’t feel guilty - you have every right to set boundaries with topics you find uncomfortable and other people should respect that. Just because someone else likes stuff with violence or gore or horror etc doesn’t mean other people have to.
