I haven't thought of Tom Robbins in years, but his books really influenced me. Reading them as a young adult, I connected to his sense of adventure, rebelliousness, creativity, and sexuality. But he seemed deeply misogynistic to me. Also influential for me, during a time friends loved Bukowski.
