Chelsea’s spending in this window & recruitment surely needs to make other teams in the WSL step up, otherwise I can’t see any club coming close to beating them. Competitiveness of the league is now at question because of this which is a shame.

Reflections on yesterdays game:
- Kyra played really well, especially in the first half
- Catley & Little exceptional - both defensively brilliant
- Found our forward play never really got going, particularly in the second half
- Think our lack of depth & physicality was exposed against Chelsea

We secured the 3 points, but our usual fluid passing wasn't there today. Some players looked fatigued. Shoutout to our centrebacks, especially Catley, for holding strong, and Russo for maintaining her form. Here's to hoping we sharpen up for Bayern 🙏
