I fell hard today because I wasn't focusing on the sequence. Thankfully I was totally fine and knew what I did. I'm proud of myself for getting back up and trying again. Also, I realized after this that my silk was not on a swivel. 💀

It’s a typical, gloomy, cold winter in Chicago. Here are some pictures I took of my plants that are pumping out new leaves to remind myself that spring will be here soon. 🌱🌱

1. Philodendrum squamiferum
2. Begonia amphioxus
3. Lime tree
4. Monstera “Thai Constellation”

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

@nespressousa.bsky.social feature request:
A sensor that stops coffee from brewing if there is no mug present.

Benefits:
I can’t be the only person that has rough mornings and starts brewing coffee without a mug underneath. Plus keeping me from making a stupid mistake means fewer pods wasted.
