You’re right it is. Really all three failed marriages were long. It’s too bad he didn’t value the time and relationships enough. His ex-wives seem to have their best days ahead of them and the same can’t be said for him.

He’s barely had anything to do with her for years. It feels very contrived for his ego on tv. If you combined all the energy he put into Meri for the past 7 years, that response was 10x more than it. He has the emotional maturity of a walnut.
