It has ramped up in the last ten years here in WY. My county is currently under attack by these extremists. The state house has been overrun by them as well.

Good! This Librarian stood up against right-wing extremists bent on destroying our Libraries. Defending access to controversial information cost her, and it shouldn't have. Wyoming has been overrun by right-wing ideologues trying to ban books in every county. Fremont Cty is under attack now.

Not surprising at all. Actually pretty on brand for the US. There needs to be a way to ensure people like this are never in positions of power. It's quite clear what they do with it.

Every time they dehumanize in any way, call it out. Because talking about anyone this way should be unacceptable and an immediate disqualification from public office.
