Not sure if using a word that describes a hate crime against Black Americans, who were often very much lynched on sight, in such a casual manner is apt here. Not to tone police, but that word is far too painful for a casual use.

Which is refreshing. The fandom of that very popular game has a lot of…eccentricities but there is a comfort that as a general whole people were like “no, no, that isn’t welcome here.” So, thats been very cool to see.

I’ve been around long enough to know how people would languish and go to bat for folks who did or said something hateful, would have some defenders. And in the almost-year it’s been since that I haven’t seen anyone defend them.
