I keep hearing that the orange crazy man should be removed by the 25th amendment. I don’t think that’s possible. DJT and his lizard brain has fully protected himself. Doesn’t that action have to start with the VP? (Don’t think that’s happening) Then he calls the cabinet of misfits together.

I get the speech and debate clause. I don’t necessarily agree with it but I accept it. But beyond that limited protection … why in all that’s holy are they allowed to do dance so close to breaking rules and crossing into unconstitutional acts and not be arrested? You know we would be.

The Constitution disagrees. The Emoluments Clause, part of Article I, Section 9, Clause 8, bans office holders from taking ANY gifts from foreign countries. There is no mention of quid pro quo. That is because the Founding Fathers knew that even the *appearance* of corruption promotes corruption.
