I will never stop calling American Football "sportsball". But I will also never forgive them for hiding the research that shows you destroy your brain by playing it.

Honestly, there are really cool sports. None of them were ever accessible to me as a youth.

And it feels like every day has a new irritating scandal in xiv. From mods to cliques to annoying grinds and low&effort content.

WoW has been a nice change of pace. XIV isn't behind me, but it's nice to return to azeroth and see a game with more (quantity) to offer.

Instead of in XIV, wherein so much of it is playing at the same time.

The base level of the content is more challenging, which the overall ceiling is lower. Individual effort is higher, which coordination is needed, but not the only thing that matters. The steps of the dance change.

It's been nice

I think within the novel eternity of the internet, we've forgotten that people natural move on and grow apart.

And they might show back up.

I treat all my old friends like stray cats. I leave a porch light on and some food out and they might show back up eventually!
