The Crown is a [redacted] organisation run by a [redacted] referred to as ‘[redacted]’. They are said to have close ties with [redacted], however that is often disputed. In fact, the [redacted] of The Crown is quite often questioned throughout the Ouroboros system as little to no evidence of their [redacted], legitimate or otherwise, can ever be found. Regardless of these speculations though, The Crown and [redacted] are very [redacted] and very dangerous. Those who get too close to uncovering too much about The Crown [redacted]. They are quite often the guiding force behind many of the more advanced technologies [redacted] produces, however, and thus are funded [redacted] by them.

It's time for some more Hollow Disciple lore! I'm direct opposition to The HEC, we have The Origin Reclaimers (you'll have heard these mentioned in recent episodes). Who would you side with?

Almost in direct opposition to The Human Expansion Collective, anyone who joins Origin Reclaimers claims to see through their veil of ‘progress for all’ and recognise The HEC’s obsession with ‘progress for at any cost’. Like their namesake, Origin Reclaimers believe that humans should reclaim their origins and return to the planet that all humans originated from rather than venture in to the Void. However, there is often dispute about where this is. Whilst most believe it is in the Ouroboros system (on the planet Katira), there are those who are adamant that humans originated elsewhere and have simply lost this knowledge to time. Regardless of this dispute, all Origin Reclaimers agree that The Human Expansion Collective are putting all of humanity at risk by taking them further and further into the Void. They believe that there are things there that humanity is not meant to discover and that by endlessly stretching into the unknown, humanity will inevitably uncover something that will be their demise.

The Human Expansion Collective (often referred to as The Expansion Collective or just The HEC or ) is system-wide corporation that doubles as a form of government for most of the planets in the Ouroboros System. Their main goal is to stretch civilisation further and further into The Void. The further they reach the more their power grows. So far they're succeeding. This, in part, is thanks to their ‘Leap Frog Stations’ (space stations that orbit a planet), the construction of which allowed human’s to build spacefaring vessels without the restriction of gravity. Although The HEC has contributed enormously to the advancement of the human race and development of technologies that have allowed planets to be terraformed safely and efficiently, they are not without their flaws. Their laws are strict, taxes high and the pay for their main workforce: alarmingly low. There are those who directly oppose The HEC, such people often end up joining the Origin Reclaimers or perhaps even work to take down The HEC from within.

A happy crew is a happy ship and a happy ship stays in the sky just that little bit longer and she knows all too well The Elpis needs every positive thought going. Puja is a queer, Indian-American voice actor, actual play performer, and writer from Texas. Growing up as a third culture kid and moving between several different countries as a child, her interests as a performer lie in showcasing the complexity of the intersection of her heritage, upbringing, and queerness. Playing: Murphey Griffiths Homeworld: Gadiva Station Occupation: Mechanic aboard The Elpis Bio: Raised in the decaying halls of Gadiva Station, Murphey knows hardship and tough luck better than most. He also knows a good person when he sees one and is quick to trust those who can show their worth. For Murphey, actions speak louder than words. As far as family goes, those aboard The Elpis may as well be all the family he has. Murphey would do anything to protect his fellow crewmates. Edward Llewelyn is a bilingual voiceover artist and trained actor, fluent in English and Welsh, with over a decade of experience across commercials, corporate narration, audiobooks, and audio dramas. His versatility has brought depth and authenticity to campaigns for clients such as Brita Water, Liquor 43, Penderyn Whisky, DVLA, DWP, Cats Protection and The Samaritans, with his work being broadcast on TV, Radio and Online In the world of audio drama, audiobooks and narration, Edward has voiced roles in acclaimed productions including Gather the Suspects, The Rebecca Rioter, and BBC One Wales’ The School on the Gurnos. Playing: Lars Ammerson Homeworld: Katira Occupation: Rigger for The Elpis Bio: After leaving The HEC Military, Lars was left without a sense of purpose in the world beyond HEC Military, Lars drifted between small-time jobs here and there in a system that no longer cared for him. However, when he found Captain Tanvir, well when she found him, he had a feeling his luck was changing. Since then, he’s been making himself at home aboard The Elpis and her crew. Shaun Pellington is the creator of Hollow Disciple and the popular audio drama Wake Of Corrosion. He does everything from script writing and editing, to casting for and producing these shows. His love for audio drama started during the pandemic and blossomed from there. Since then, Shaun has written for The Magnus Protocol and performed in various audio dramas such as WOE.BEGONE, The Department Of Variance, Hi Nay, Nine To Midnight and Nowhere, On Air to mention a few. When he’s not teaching English, Shaun can be found behind the editing desk or wandering the countryside of the UK on scenic hikes.
