My kid’s gonna be born tomorrow. Youth is strange and fleeting. Felt the itch to make up some screamo riffs. Sort of a goodbye to the times when I could drive three hours out to play a show to thirty or so people and scream and be messy and be loud. Gonna miss it. Time for the next chapter.

Sometimes if something hurts or startles my girlfriend she’ll go “ow,” but she’ll say it like Earthworm Jim when he gets hit in the old games. I told her this, and then I had to explain who Earthworm Jim is, and then I had to find a clip of him getting hit. Just the longest walk for my bullshit.

One time I lost a bet and had to watch Grave of the Fireflies every day for seven days in a row. Saw this while walking through an Asian Market and it felt like the emotional version of getting flashbanged.

I don’t know how to explain it, but this is the most Divorced Guy Guitar Riff I have ever learned. And no, not because it’s from She’s Leaving You, by MJ Lenderman. It’s not the song title or the lyrics. It’s this riff. This riff is a divorced guy.

Hey, unrelated to dumb jokes and very sad political postings, I (kinda) figured out how to play both guitar parts to the verse and bridge of Napoleon Solo, by At the Drive-In with the help of a looper pedal. That’s fun for me at least!

Also hi, been trying to be silly, but we’re all pretty stressed out I think. Here’s me messing with a looper pedal trying to recreate Green Gloves, by The National. What’s a song that makes you go, “Ok, I feel kinda calm again”? ‘Cause this is certainly one for me.

I keep seeing people post art and lists of things they like, so I guess I’ll give it a shot. Here’s some stuff I like and a guitar cover I did a few months ago: -David Lynch -Silent Hill -Evangelion -Chainsaw Man -Metal Gear Solid -Elden Ring -Indie Games -Blank Check -Horror -Tim Robinson
